Like DNews? Because I'm looking into the possiblity of running
text-only wholesaling operation and I have users who have to be kept
separated from each other. ;). And INN is "insanely configurable."

About six bofh feeds, which was what showed the problems with the Net
and Open BSDen and tagged hash. OpenBSD is worse with tagged hash and
cycbuffs than NetBSD. About 2/3rds of rec.*, some comp. groups, a
couple of UPA alt. groups, news.* -- mostly from Supernews, with some
from a couple of other places.

I'm getting advice from a guy who's contributed significant code to
INN.

Cleanfeed ups the CPU requirements. I've got minimal binary groups
(fur.* and a pair of local groups that don't get much traffic).
