I think she meant "spouse", and just forgot the "p".

I can think of maybe twice in the past six months that I've
been drunk, or even drank.

Bill (never mix 12 oz of jim beam with 8 oz of coke, drink it in less
 than 20 minutes, then try to stand up..)
