I once received a very poorly packed 450, the guy put it in styrofoam 
peanuts!  It took a bounce somewhere during the trip and put all sorts of 
major dents and dings in the case, but the 450 pulled through!  Sun came 
out and re-verified it for service and everything.  I really didn't expect 
it to work too well, but it did.
