REPC (www.repc.com) in Seattle commonly has 19" and larger monitors for
sale at $149. They also have fixed frequency PCI cards to run on PC's.
I've seen them in operation and they do work, but they do not work in
640x480 or at any frequency other than what the card is set for. This
means when the machine boots, you won't see anything until the GUI itself
starts. No POST, no bootups, anything. But then if you are running
multiple monitors in Win98, you could run the big monitor as the secondary
if you wanted.
