They're cheaper than sun but not cheaper than netgear/smc -- Znyx
(www.znyx.com) has their ZX340Q line wherein the ZX345Q is a $100
Solaris/SPARC-compatible fast ethernet adapter.

I've used their quad cards in Ultra 5s in quantity (I remember the Sun guy
coming through and seeing 13 ethernets in an Ultra 5 in our lab 3 years or
so ago. "You know that's not supported, right?" me: "Yeah." "You don't
really care do you?" me: "Nope."). Except that they come up as znb#
instead of hme#, they're great.

Some people have wondered about using the Znyx driver with generic Tulip
cards, but I suspect it won't be that easy. If you find a way to do it, I
have a 345 non-Q model here that you're welcome to try (contact me
offlist). At least I think it's still here.

There are some Osicom 4-port cards on ebay most of the time; they might be
supported, and they're nice and cheap ($110ish) quad-tulips like Znyx.
Hmmm, darn, best driver I see for them is Sol7.
