[rescue] Connecting a regular PC keyboard and mouse to a E450

Is there any problem in connecting a regular PC keyboard and a mouse to an 
E450 server?
The SUN keyboard and mouse are usually connected to one port on the server 
(the mouse being connected to the keyboard).  So, where does the external PC 
mouse be connected ?

And, will this work if the server is up and running already?
