Never mind - you can't buy them - they are sold out *big time* (just got off the phone with them).

Other servers are available, but at higher prices/better specs.

(You will note the page I lead you to in the attached instructions does *not* have a buy button...)

Sorry for any confusion,

Ken

I still see them at www.valinux.com :

Go to their web site (see above)

Click on "Exceptional Values on Superior Server" (or whatever) in middle of page

Scroll down, click on "Quick Ships"

Click on "The VA Linux 1000" image

	Wallow in the savings, baby!

Note - this may no longer be available - you may want to call your order in to be sure...

The chance to upgrade to a 1U server w/dual P/III 750 CPUs, SCSI HD and 512 Meg ECC RAM for $800 was too good to pass up, IMHO. I hope I can score some of that low-priced RAM they offer on the custom-configured systems ($90 for a 512 Meg ECC SIMM, the box can take up to 4 SIMMs). So $800 (2x P/III 750 MHz, 512 Meg, 18 Gig SCSI HD) + $270 (3x 512 Meg SIMMs) = one serious little server for Sun Blade type money.
