Yes.  The SIMMs have more NVRAM (2MB vs 1MB in the Sbus cards), greater
bandwidth, lower latency, and they don't load the Sbus down while
transferring data.  You can also use 2 NVSIMMs in a Sparc 10 or 20 for 4MB
of NVRAM.

The disadvantage, of course, is that they're only usable in the Sparc 10
and 20 (and the SS1000/SC2000 for their 1MB presto SIMMs).
