Close, but not quite.
Nokia runs IPSO on their appliances. Nokia acquired IPSO when they acquired
Ipsilon (sp?), who did the original work.
It forked off of FreeBSD a number of years ago, not off of Open. Open forked
from NetBSD (Flames > /dev/null). Net and Free BSD trace their parentage to
the work at Bezerkly.
Open aspires to be a secure, general purpose OS, with audited, public source.
IPSO, although derived from the same general roots, was stripped down and
optimized for routing (its original purpose).
