IBM made their own Thinkpad/RS-6000 laptops:

They had the 850 (PowerPC-based, 66Mhz) and 860 (PowerPC-based, 133Mhz?)
they were pretty nifty, as they had full audio, 14" displays, scsi,
video-in, CD and Floppy. IIRC they used regular Thinkpad batteries, too.
