Many HP tubes of that era were also SOG so there is a good chance there will be
a setting that in conjunction with a tube that does SOG that HD-15 to 3 BNC
will JustWork[tm]

Also note, that is you have an HD-15 to 4 or 5 BNC you can ignore the extra
leads.

there was one HP monitor that had the same settings as that Sun tube. So it is
very fortunate that that works :)
