[rescue] weird problem

Yepper. Now everything is working. I tried ping using the -n to bypass
nameserver lookup and it worked fine, as in I got my ping replies.

Now suddenly I have everthing including console messages working propperly.

Geez where is my dead chicken when I need it!!
