[rescue] Fun new virus out there - subject line of "Hi!"

The hook that catches most folks is that they read
their emails by opening them blindly as they delete
the  previous one...

I use a "preview pane" mode that shows the text of the
message **without** opening attachemnts.

But yes, MS software should (in many cases) be used
sparingly (at best)...
