But is it waste?  It's only waste if you never use it, and never wanted it
to begin with.  If you want it, is it waste?  The leaning tower of IPC and
IPX systems in my attic could be classified as waste - but I don't think so,
because I want it there.

Again, it depends on your point of view.  I could easily be having this
discussion about 1.8Ghz Athlon computers on the Sportster list.  Most would
argue, quite coherently, that anything beyond 200 Mhz is wasted on your
average home user.

Point of view - that's what it's all about.
