I think that's supposed to be 501-2655, the -2646 is just the
transciever.

They're "be" ethernet cards.  100baseT half-duplex and unsupported in
recent revs of Solaris (anything past 2.6 if I remember correctly).  Some
people have reported success using them in more recent revs by using the
old driver packages.
