[rescue] SCSI

Hi,

I've just bought another scsi card for on of my sparcs, and it turns out
to be a different model scsi controller to the others..

Can anyone tell me if there is any significant difference between these?

One of the add-in cards is to drive a dat library, and the other is to
drive a disk shelf .. it seems to me to be sensible to put the disk shelf
on the "better" card... ??

Indeed, given that they both appear (from the detection shown below) to
be NCR53C9XF or equivalent (the esp100 card is not an ncr chip), what is
the difference?

esp0: IRQ 36 SCSI ID 7 Clk 40MHz CCF=8 TOut 167 NCR53C9XF(espfast)
esp1: IRQ 53 SCSI ID 7 Clk 40MHz CCF=8 TOut 167 NCR53C9XF(espfast)
esp2: IRQ 53 SCSI ID 7 Clk 40MHz CCF=8 TOut 167 NCR53C9XF(espfast)
ESP: Total of 3 ESP hosts found, 3 actually in use.
scsi0 : Sparc ESP100A-FAST
scsi1 : Sparc ESP100A-FAST
scsi2 : Sparc ESP236-FAST
scsi : 3 hosts.

Thanks,

dave.
