umm..there's really no harm at all.  People *are* probing for 515, but
not for hp printers.  You're printer would not be very interesting to
someone looking for mischief.

However, I was bored a few years ago and picked apart the HP message
coding so I could change the LCD display when people were at the
printer.  No fun unless you get to see their reaction.
