Having both genders of DB25 ports is nice when you're using the
same terminal for multiple machines in a colo environment, where
you're swapping cables back and forth.  Makes it less-hard to
find the proper cable when you have to go scrounging through
the ISP's junk drawer when someone borrowed your cable.

I mean a PS/2-interface cable.  Right now I've got a LK401-interface
keyboard on it:

Here at home, I've got a couple VT320s and a 420, of course.

pretty much ANY VTxxx terminal is Good Stuff (tm).
