True optimization means not allowing the light into the room at all.=20

That means reflective material on the outside, preferably on the outside=
=20
of the frame (giving some insulating dead air space between you material=
=20
and the glass.)

plywood and white paint would work well. Wood is a poor heat conductor, =

as I recall from my herp days.
