I think my 16KB card for the Timex Sinclair 1000 was around $100 at
K-Mart. $6400/MB plus tax.

TS1k was my first, 1983 or so. Next one was a Zenith Z-171 laptop (1994)
with a Blue Screen of Life, and then the first alyssa.indyramp.com, a
Gateway 2000 80386DX33 with 385 and 387 chips and 16MB of DIP ram on a
daughterboard (1995). I think I traded the Gateway board (or one of the
/25 8Mb ones) for my MicroVAX II
