Just curious - what is throwing out th e"Red Stae Exception" message if the CPU is toast... Is there another processor/controller chip on-board that oversees the operation of the Ultra?

Ouch, that's what I had feared, the CPU fan is totally dead and doesn't 
spin up unless it gets a lot of help.
