I always power up with external monitor devices first then the cpu
and then the drives. I reverse that when shutting down.

I did that after I changed framebuffers from a 501-2337 to a 501-1645.
The monitor came up fine. But, I could not do that with the 1962 on
the 501-2337 framebuffer. I dunno why, yet. Also, after bringing
up the cg6 and 1962, I lost X (i.e., the server would not start).
Any idea what happened to X? Is it linking the wrong I/O space?
The 501-2337 is an S24 frame buffer? When X was started, it said
it could not open the fb device.

Thanks

Bob
