[SunRescue] Sun monitor weirdness

I have a GDM20d10 (the one with the funky remote control thing).  It
worked fine until yesterday.  Now the picture is suddenly "squeezed"
horizontally, so that I have about a 1" black border on the left and
right edges.  The "make the picture wider" adjustment doesn't help
much.

Is this a common problem with an easy fix?  Or do I need to find a
place that repairs Sun monitors?  Any ideas where I might find such
a place in the Newport News, Va. area?
