[SunRescue] Q: about creator graphics cards...

So I shouldn't feel that I am missing out on anything substantial (for
general use) by getting the $95 Creator 3D Series 1?

Is there a marked difference between the 3D and non-3D cards (i.e. should I
consider replacing the non-3D card in my third Ultra 2)?

BTW - I recently bought a second 200 MHz Ultra 2 CPU from anysystem.com and
was very pleased with the transaction. They were very courteous,
knowledgeable (made sure I knew what I was ordering), the shipment arrived
the next day (I ordered after lunch, shipped that day), and it was *very*
well packed. Oh, and shipping was free!

They are one of Bills "Recommended Vendors" and they are one of mine as
well - just wanted to pass along that good news about them.

Side note: I recently won a few auctions, and I have been amazed at what
people consider adequate packaging - a 19" monitor in a flimsy box full of
peanuts, a ss/20 clone suspended on an array of foam blocks and tape, and 2
Ultra 2s, stacked inside an HP laser printer box (the Ultra 2s actually were
fine, but the SS/20 clone had cosmetic damage and the 19" monitor has had
the case cracked like a walnut!)...

Thanks,

Ken
