I am one of the Founders of the San Diego BSD Users Group and the First
Thursday of the month is our monthly meeting Time for our meetings.
During the announcements (Geek Braggin) someone had gotten a DUAL CPU
Rack mounted server with a Gig of ram and a single IDE hard disk
delivering over 80,000 10k messages an hour. The postfix box is in one
colo while the box that is injecting the mails (Legitimate addresses) is
in another. The OS was FreeBSD with only a few sysctl knobs adjusted and
postfix setting of concurrent bumped from 10(default) to 100.

Goto to love a screaming mail server ;-)

P.S. BILL: I love the performance of the list now with postfix handling
the delivery ;-)
