[SunRescue] Can someone tell me what I just bought please?

That is a nice big ole' 670 alright. They are nice machines. It is heavy,
very heavy, like 150+ pounds heavy.

It's a 4M machine and uses the 4/600 system board. The latest version of
Solaris supported without a hack is 2.5.1. It will also run Linux and
OpenBSD. Damn fine machines. A tad noisy, they make plenty of heat and are
just cool in a monster sized sort of way.

Read the FAQ's and stuff at www.sunhelp.org referring to the 4/600 to find
out more. The description from the auction does not tell much like amount of
memory or CPU's so you'll just have to wait till it gets there.

The FAQ says the board 501-1203 mentioned is a ALM Whatever that is.
