If I read the back panel correctly, the part number is 365-1168-02.

I'll try to see if my Mac's NEC will sync to it with the adapter I've got.
If not, well, so much for Open Windows anytime soon. Thanks for the
information.

The sync rates are incompatible.  My guess is that the framebuffer is
putting out 1152x900 @ 61.8KHz/66Hz, and the monitor won't sync below
76Hz.  What's the full monitor part number?
