Nope, my wife's name is Karin. Imagine a mix of Irish and Italian
blood,
all wrapped up in a whopping 5 whole feet. I brought home a Sparc-10
the
other day and this is the exchange that followed:
Karin: What is *that*?
Me: It's, um, a Sparc-10...
Karin: <dirty look> I see.
Me: I got a great deal on it...
Karin: I'm sure you did <evile eye in my direction> Where are you
going to
put it? Didn't we just talk about spending money on computers?
Me: Um, in my office space. Maybe in the back once the shelves are
built.
Yes, I know. But it was really cheap!
Karin: What about my website? I haven't seen any progress on that
lately.
Me: Oh! Uhh, yeah - that's what this is for. I bought it to use as
your
webserver...
Karin: Cool, so you can have it running by Sunday, right?
Me: Yes, that's right. Definitely by Sunday!

So, you see the fine line here. I get the Sparc, it doesn't do what
I
originally planned for it, but I still get to play with it and keep
it.

Kurt
