[SunRescue] That maddening cycle...

I brought an old Sparc in to hook to the network and use the bandwidth.
Much faster than the home connection. A net install of OpenBSD was actually
doable.

I didn't have trouble with people touching the monitor or system, but
someone used the keyboard cable for a PS/2 mouse extension cable. I had
missed it when I packed up to go home, and didn't notice it was gone at
first, I was running the box headless.

It was a type-4 cable and when they plugged it and had to jiggle it to make
it work. It did explain the intermittent problems that the user was having
with the mouse. Needless to say the cable has 'issues' now.

If anyone has a type-4 keyboard cable laying around that they would part
with I would appreciate it, mine is missing pin 4 which makes it a little
hard to use X windows.

Thanks

Seth Dunehew

I brought my DEC 3000/600 and VT220 console terminal into work to play
with DU 5.0A on. Boss walked past while I was installing the OS.

"Oooh, retro"

I thought, its not THAT old...
