When you say dead 2gb drives in them, what exactly does that mean about
the drives? Are the drives totally dead, or are they usable on reformatting
or such on old suns? SCSI-I is fine on my old junkers, AFIK.

What are the exact model numbers on the drives?

Anyone know if a Mercury 8 inch scsi drive from an Apple will work on
a sun3? I picked up one that seems to be 700mb or such. Big mother.
