[geeks] Cisco AP IOS help?

Got a Cisco LAP1252AG plus 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz antennas (!) for $28 off eBay
(plus another $30 for the 56V power injector needed to run both radios
at once). Got it up and running; it came as the LWAPP config, but
I was able to get IOS 12.4 autonomous loaded via TFTP.

If there's a newer/better k9w7 (standalone) image available, I'd
appreciate it (no Cisco contract here). Tried a 15.x image
(c1250-k9w7-tar.152-2.JA1) found via a random site, but it gave me a fd
checksum error when trying to install via mode switch/tftp recovery
despite downloading from two different sites and making sure checksums
matched.

I can connect just fine at 802.11n speeds with the 2.4Ghz radio, but I
can't "see" the SSID on the 5Ghz radio (or connect to it) with any of
the gear I've got.

The interface is configured, shows up, etc, I just can't see it from any
clients (Moto Nexus 6, Asus Nexus 7 2013, LG Nexus 9, all running
Android 5.1.1).

My hardware and config:

Any suggestions? General config improvements/tweaks greatly
appreciated.

Bill
