Every reliable source that I can find shows the US has more guns per capita
than any other nation on earth.

Furthermore, it leads the statistics by a large margin. Even higher
than countries such as Switzerland and Israel where a large proportion
of the population have a military issue weapon available to them.

So, this shouldn't be a hazy fact.
