I keep some stuff in each car's trunk, but it's more for the convenience
of a commuter or a family out for the day (ilke wipes & an extra plastic
bag; paper & pencil; some light rope; light stick; first aid stuff;
spare windbreaker and sweatshirt; a blanket...).

   My backpack has other things (A Guyot spork set, Clif Bars, extra
batteries, Guyot Squishy (silicone) bowls, first aid stuff, three or
four hand tool, et al.) that I use all the time.

   I have thought about asembling a big kit for the house, but where do
you stop?
