I have started to use my iPod/Touch for entertainment on flights - but  
I fly maybe three trips a year, max.

I find the screen large enough and the device size and battery life  
acceptable for 2-3 hours, the rest of the time is either music or  
reading paper magazines.

I haven't made the cutover to e-books (yet), but I'm starting to like  
O'Reilly Safari...
