Likely as not.  HTC's are quite sensitive to chargers.  If you drain  
the battery all the way, only the OEM charger or one rated for the  
exact same charge spec will bring it back.  99% of the aftermarkets  
are generic mini-USB and don't meet the HTC's specs.
