I evaluated several of the Storms not that long ago, and while it does
indeed have a very nice screen I can't recommend it in its current
state. Even after using it for awhile the on-screen keyboard is still
not as good as the physical keyboard (IMO) and yields a lot higher
typo rate - even after slowing down significantly. (Yes, an external
keyboard would mitigate this when non-mobile.) The Storm would also
freeze up intermittently and then suddenly start catching up to
whatever scrolling or typing motions had occurred since the freeze -
if it didn't just randomly ignore some or all of those motions. More
importantly, each device we used randomly rebooted itself at least
once during the evaluation period, and a number of other people have
posted similar experiences on-line. And it's not a quick reboot. For
me, that's a bit of a deal-breaker.

It's too bad, really, because it's got a lot of potential and RIM
could have had a real competitor to the iPhone, at least for business
users. Maybe after they've gotten the software improved, and/or
improved the specs of the device, it'll start living up to its
promise. For now I'd recommend going with one of the other Blackberry
models (well, except the Pearl) instead.
