[geeks] Help Needed: Drivers for older Intel NICs

I'm throwing together a little Windows Server 2008 box, and it has a
built-in Realtek 10/100/1000 NIC and I had an older Dell-sourced Intel
dual 10/100 PCI NIC (from older PowerEdge servers) in the PCI slot,
but Windows Server 2008 won't recognise it, and I can't seem to find a
suitable Intel driver.

This is for Windows Server 2008, 32-bit.

I even downloaded the 100 Meg Intel "Driver Package" for (seemingly)
*all* their NICs, but the card wasn't identified. (The driver download
description starts off with the line "This is a huge file.")

The chip on the card is SB82558B (and dated 1996, could this really be
a 13 year-old NIC?).

Windows Server 2003 included drivers for these cards, but they appear
to have been dropped in 2008 - it's no great loss, the NICs work in
lots of other OS, but it might be nice to have the NIC work on this
box.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Lionel
