[geeks] Dell taps VIA for servers

Not a product you or I can order from Dell, but the TheRegister.co.uk
had an interesting piece on a small Dell box that crams 12 servers
into one 2U chassis, each with up to 3 gigs of RAM, a local notebook
SATA drive, two gigabit ethernet ports and and an SD slot for loading
boot images, all lide into a (relatively) dumb backplane.

Looks neat, and the Via chips support virtualization...

As the article notes, a fully-stuffed cabinet is expected to be around
$4,800, or around $400/server.
