the biggest problem is that coke is a sugar drink.
sugar wreaks havoc with connections, etc.
washing and cleaning circuit boards is doable for non-energized equipment.

as for OS X on a netbook, you at the Dell Mini 9.
www.mydellmini.com 0r .org is the site, IIRC.
the mini 9 takes OS X very easiest (surprisingly!).
i have done this with two mini 9s.
the mini 9 can be order with windows xp home or ubuntu 8.02 lts.
with a solid state drive or a 2.5" drive.
the mini 9 can also be ordered with internal bluetooth and a 1.3mp web cam.
OS X picks up the 1.3mp camera without an issue.

i found it easy to read. (again, surprisingly!)

the dell mini 10 and the mini12 uses a non-apple intel graphics circuit and
there are no OS X drivers for it--so OS X can't be installed.

hth!
