my first pc which i actually -used- was an att 3b1/7300/unixpc, aka
convergent [the real maker] s4.  i got it in '88 and retired it about
'95, by which time it was a leaf node, via uucp, on the internet.  i
even had a news feed.  10MHz '010, max 4M ram, and a staggering 40M
hd.  the mmu logic was custom.  the whole design was basically a
single board version of the convergent miniframe.
