...and this is why I plan to continue POTS service at home for the 
foreseeable future.  I can only remember a couple of times in my 
lifetime that I've had a hiccup or outage with POTS.  I can remember 
that many failures of Cell phone, cable TV, power, DSL or just about any 
other service that i have in the last few years if not the last few 
weeks.  But then, I also still listen to AM and FM radio.
