Gotcha. I know on Macs we have "little snitch" ... I know there are  
some similar Windows programs which essentially run a live "netstat"  
of what's going on... if you can keep that going through the period  
where you're infected you can have a log of what's nailing you and  
from that you can figure out what to block, etc...
