Power suplies for PCE should last 3 to 5 years if you look after them. I
only had one PS I ever needed to replace in a system due to lack of
care. Did not check the fans and did not see they were choked up with
dust bunnies. Most of time a dead PS can be fixed by replacing just a
fuse (a small glass tube with metal on the edges) .... and of course you
have the fans that can stop working and then you need those a.s.a.p for
the rest it almost never happens that a PS fails 100%.
