   SImply amazing, IMHO.

   I'd consider buying one, just because... Of course, they'll likely
   mess it up and make the laptop so "up-spec" that very few can afford
   it...

   As a side note, anyone ever monkey with the AMD Phenom 9100e CPUs (4x
   core at 1.8 GHz)? J and R has a Gateway system with 4 Gig RAM
   (expandable to 8 Gig, it ships with 2x 2 Gig DIMMs and two open
   slots), 640 Gig SATA HD (room for one or two more internally), gigabit
   NIC, on-board WiFi, flash card readers, open PCIe 1x and 16x slots
   (one of each), as well as two PCI slots and an HDMI digital interface
   from the integrated video for $399, free S/H in USA... The system has
   6x SATA connections that appear to have some sort of SATA RAID
   capability (as evidenced by the availability of MARVELL RAID drivers).
