I'm not too tuned into the used equipment market, but I just noticed that surpluscomputers.com has 24 port refurbished Cisco switches (2924XL) for $65/each. That seems to be a good deal for someone looking to upgrade their home infrastructure from commodity hardware to enterprise hardware.

No connection, just a happy customer of theirs.

Units are also available on eBay, with prices ranging from $30 -> well over $150, but for a unit with a 90 warranty from a known seller, this might interest some here... (Say, $work won't buy from eBay sellers, etc.)
