Hello all,

I was given a USB card by a friend a few years ago, and was told it was a USB 1.1 card. I figured "Who knows, maybe I'll have a use for it later on..." - well, this morning I pulled it out of the pile, looked at the chip set, and did a quick "google".

Turns out, based on the chip used (ALi M5273) it is a USB 2.0 card (4 ext & 1 int). So, in my quest for mor info I went and found the Secification Sheet from the Mfg., ALi, and much to my suprise, they got the part number wrong on their own spec sheet[0] - they show it clear as day as M5723 in the block diagram, but refer to it as M5273 everywhere else on the document. Amazing.

As a side note, anyone know if these ALi chips work with Solaris?

Thanks,

Lionel
