Yes. Although many so-called 'console servers' that exhibit that
behaviour are relabelled terminal servers (or updated terminal
servers). Given that Sun isn't a tiny company with only a handful of
customers, I would feel justified in demanding a full refund on such a
'console server' as being legally unfit for purpose, and attempting to
get it black-listed within the UK academic community.

Sometimes shit should be shovelled right back at the vendor.
