I personally can't stand mindless movies.  I'd sooner have silence.
(Especially since 90% of Hollywood's idea of humor just plain isn't
funny.  Either they find embarrassment funny, or they just don't know
the difference between "funny" and "painfully, humiliatingly stupid".)
