The wording here is very important - the issue is are trucks included or not, fleet sales or not, etc. There are various measures, and IIRC, the Taurus was thebest selling *car* in America when fleet sales were included, Honda Accord when fleet sales were not included, and the Ford F-150 was best selling of all vehicle types (cars and truck, fleet and private sales)...
