Assuming everything is on the same VLAN: the GigE devices will have
trouble talking to the 10baseT device.

I don't believe that the ProCurve will drop the packets, I think it's
more likely that the 10baseT device will simply log the larger packets
(> ~1522 bytes) as giants and drop 'em.

If the GigE and 10baseT devices are on separate VLANs all will be well.

What model of ProCurve? The "value" switches (ie 2510-24, 2810-24G, etc)
are the only ones to not support L3 switching.
